Course Description: This course will discuss and review movement disorders, discuss RMMDC and their services, discuss how the movement disorders are recognized or diagnosed, review common treatment options related to Parkinson’s Disease, review resources for those in the community to access with PD, discuss how therapy plays a role in the treatment plan for patients with movement disorders, and how PT,OT,ST can best contribute to the overall comprehensive treatment of a person with PD and the identify the interdisciplinary team approach

Instructor: Sarah Robbins, RN, MSN, ACNP – Sarah is with the Rocky Mountain Movement disorder center. She and her team specializes in treatment and diagnosis of movement disorders including Parkinson’s Disease. Sarah has been education through lectures to patients for the last year with RMMDC.
